The long, hot summer of work
The long hot summer of work continues in and around campus. Natural gas workers have placed orange safety cones to direct traffic on Brown Street between L and K Streets. The Flyer is making its rounds from campus to downtown and back. Students are walking to class and supplies are being delivered to various departments. Workers in Albert Emanuel Hall have prepared a room for a mural artist to paint. The marquee message board at Holy Angels Church reminds us to go to church. And campus visit tour guides are reporting for work on the front porch of Albert Emanuel Hall. It seems like it takes as much gumption to get through summer as it does winter.
