Landmarks in time

Larry Burgess July 20, 2023

Time is always moving forward. We measure its passing mostly with clocks and calendars. But there are other things, too, that mark the passing of time. Some examples around campus are things like signs, installations and buildings. Miriam Hall has a clock on the upper south side. Founders Hall has a cornerstone etched with Roman numerals that read 1924. There remain cleaning stations to continue to prevent the spread of disease outside Kennedy Union conference rooms. And there is a new sign in the front yard of the newly opened Premier Health clinic on Brown Street that was not there before. It seems we are always finding a way to measure time.
