Reunion 2021 will carry on virtually this summer and extend to an entire week of live and pre-recorded events to allow as many as possible to participate.
It will begin Sunday, June 6, with a welcome from President Eric F. Spina and the singing of the UD anthem by Golden Flyers. It will close Sunday, June 13, with Mass streamed from the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception.
Amanda Rupp ’10, assistant director of alumni relations, said the reunion committees from the classes of 2016, 2011, 2006, 2001, 1996, 1991, 1986, 1981, 1976 and 1971 are planning special events for their classmates.
“We want to still be able to celebrate the incredible milestones of our alumni, and we feel digital opportunities are the safest option,” she said.

Events open to alumni of any graduating year include campus tours and videos highlighting the academic departments and student experiences. Students are also creating videos of the places they live to give alumni a behind-the-scenes look. For details, visit your.udayton.edu/reunion.
Induction ceremonies for Golden Flyers from the classes of 1970 and 1971 will be held on campus at a later date. Committee member Terry Vukcevic ’71 invites classmates to stay connected and plan to attend: “It’s a good time, you’ll have fun, and you won’t recognize the University — it’s an exciting place to be.”
