Buckle down and secure

Buckle down and secure

Larry Burgess September 07, 2023

Fall semester has been in session almost three weeks, and now is the time to lace up and buckle down on your class work. Earlier this week was downright hot, with temperatures in the 90s. Today it’s an overcast sky with possible thunderstorms and a much cooler temps in the 70s predicted. Yet, even during the heat, students seemed unperturbed. They soldiered on in summer attire and with water bottles in tow as they traveled between classes. And of course the cool blast of air conditioning kept the academic buildings comfortable during classes. Engineering students don't need to venture into the hot, summer sky for a flight plan test. Instead they keep their cool no matter what the weather in the Flight Simulation Lab inside Kettering Labs.
