Stay hungry for knowledge

Stay hungry for knowledge

Larry Burgess August 04, 2023

There are holes in some of the leaves on our campus trees, indicating a few insects got hungry and munched on this convenient snack. Animals, like our many campus squirrels, tend to stay hidden in the trees until it’s time to venture out in search of food. The nearby hawks also tend to remain above the fray, hiding in high-up locations such as cell phone towers and rooftops, only to swoop down to snatch an unsuspecting meal in its talons. Back on the ground, the young humans on campus hunger for knowledge. This time of year, we see many here on campus for the very first time on a campus visit, preparing to to take the next step in their journey. We pray that their journey leads them to a bright future here at UD.
