Perception and reality
At first glance it might look like a sliver of a sunset in the desert. But another look shows it’s just a newly painted yellow curb, alongside a recently rolled bit of asphalt. Maybe that’s what happens when we look at something too quickly, and our mind fills in the picture without taking a second look. Are we living life so fast that we’re not seeing the nuances? What else are we missing in terms of meaning? Slow down and take in the whole picture.
