Under the harsh summer sun, a red hawk rests atop the cross on the chapel dome. Soon it is aloft, patrolling the campus and all that’s going on below. He can see workers making repairs to walkways and parking lots. In the seasonal heat of the day, sprinklers and fountains spray. Those workers may be tempted to take a break to stand in the overspray to cool down. The busy bees around campus never seem to mind the heat though, as they harvest nectar from the flowers. Even in the summertime, UD’s campus is abuzz with all sorts of activity.
