Gallery: Reunion Weekend 2023
Once a Flyer, always a Flyer. That was the sentiment shared amongst the more than 2,700 alumni who returned to campus from across the country for Reunion Weekend 2023.
"Reunion Weekend 2023 was an incredible experience! The energy and Flyer spirit took over campus from the moment the first alum stepped onto campus to the time the last one left! You could see the smiles and hear the laughter as alumni shared memories from their time together as students - and new memories were created throughout the weekend! We could not have asked for a more perfect Flyer-filled weekend celebrating our alumni!
The Class of 1973 gathered on Friday evening for their induction as Golden Flyers in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception. On Friday night, alumni enjoyed individual class parties for their respective class years, including 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, 2013 and 2018. Comedian and alumnus Pat McGann ’98 entertained a crowd in Boll Theater until late into the night.
On Saturday, alumni enjoyed various tours of campus, including of The Hub in downtown Dayton and the progress of the Roger Glass Arts Center construction. Alumni wedded couples stood at the altar in the chapel and renewed their marriage vows, promising to always support Flyer Nation (and their spouse). And in the evening, attendees danced the night away at the annual Reunion Weekend Porch Party under the stars (well, under the big tent).
The stars at night ... are big and bright ... deep in the heart of C Lot. Until next year, Flyers!
