For those who have remained behind
For those who skipped a trip to the beach for spring break and chose to remain behind, I submit this report from campus. The temperature is 29 degrees, with a piercing wind speed of 16 mph out of the northwest, combining to making it feel like a frigid 19 degrees. Overnight we received a small accumulation of snow from an unexpected squall. Mission essential personnel like the facilities grounds crew have sprinkled salt on walkways for safety, and some people are on campus attending a seminar in Torch Lounge. We present for you this photo essay of campus details, landscapes, and assorted things highlighted with snow — giving you a glimpse of what you can see outside in the cold today, so you don’t have to.
