Patterns are all around us
Visual patterns can be seen everywhere — if you pay attention. Nature repeats itself, and man-made things are mass produced copies of themselves. You may see patterns in architectural elements such as floors, walkways, stairways, brick walls or even man-made art (such as statues). In nature, you may see patterns in the veining of flowers and leaves, or the repeating pattern of grass and other plants. A stroll around the UD campus gives us a variety of examples of these patterns. Go out and see if you can find your own collection.
