More signs of winter
More signs of winter are showing up around campus. Naturally, when it feels cold outside, we wear heavy coats to keep warm. The same is true in the animal kingdom, where dogs and squirrels grow thicker fur now to winter over. When columns of vapor are seen escaping up the chimney of the Humanities Building into a blue sky, that’s another sign of winter. Finally, the trees — unlike the animals — shed their leafy coats.
