Waiting for Christmas
There is a hawk atop the cross on the dome of the chapel, and it is waiting. Everyone and everything on campus is waiting. Advent candles in the chapel are waiting to be lighted. The manger in the chapel is waiting for prayer intentions. The students during a class change are waiting to go home for Christmas break. And we’re all waiting for the lights to come on in Humanities Plaza for this year’s Christmas on Campus. Everyone is invited to the celebration on campus from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 8. Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel (live-streamed) and at 9:30 p.m. at Holy Angels.
