Ash Wednesday is an important and widely celebrated day in the Catholic religion. For Junior Nate Reuter, it's a tradition in his life along with it being strongly rooted in his faith.
"I'm a practicing Catholic and it's something that I've done every year to start off lent. I got ashes today because it shows a physical sign of Christ's love for us through the cross," Reuter said. "The ash represents my sin but also my want to do better."
