Liftoff

As the home of the Flyers, we like to watch things that fly. Airplanes, drones, and helicopters fly over us every day. Sometimes we hear the loud piercing scream of a hawk, soaring with large wings, riding an updraft. ODNR says, a hawk is a raptor that is beneficial to people, because it eats mice, insects, and carrion. It is also illegal to kill them. This hawk takes flight from a pole on Frericks Way heading toward Baujan Field.
