Summer of Bacterium
Even though summer starts the dedication never ends! Incoming senior, Jack Weis- Pre-Med Major '19, has devoted his summer to continue to work in his lab to find a way to detect Listeria more efficiently in the food industry. Listeria is a serious infection caused by eating food with the bacterium Listeria monocytogenes.
