Karen Thompson

ALUMNA CLASS OF 1977

Karen is known for her commitment to faith, mission, inclusivity and community. Karen is an alumna of 1977. She continues to engage with UD events in Detroit, visits campus, is always willing to support UD when asked and has been loyal to UD since graduation.  She embodies the Marianist charism. She is loyal to her passions, including UD, persistent in her drive, a genuine person, and admirably understated. It's never about Karen; but about the other person and the cause. Karen was pinned by 2020 Women of UD honoree, Beverly Jenkins.
