HERS Application Process
The University of Dayton has committed to sending up to two women to attend HERS each year. The Women’s Center oversees the recruitment and selection process for HERS at UD. All individuals interested in attending HERS must first apply through the internal UD process. The internal UD process is a combination of self-nomination and nomination from members of the President’s Council. Those who are nominated must still complete a full online application. A selection committee of UD HERS alumnae will review all applications and make recommendations to the President, Provost and Vice President for Human Resources, who will decide whom to move forward.
A typical recruitment cycle is noted below for planning purposes; note applications typically open in early Fall semester for attendance at HERS the following summer.
