As we move toward the next phase of the Women's Center history, we need your help to ensure we're addressing the greatest needs and having the biggest impact on the entire UD community. The Women's Center will host listening sessions during January 2018 for the UD community to voice their concerns about the issues facing women on this campus, and share their suggestions and ideas on where we should be focusing our core attention.

In partnership and collaboration with Artemis Center, a local domestic violence resource agency, the Women's Center is hosting an art exhibit featuring work from survivors of intimate partner violence now through November 10.

Lactation Rooms on Campus

The Women's Center strives to make UD as inclusive and supportive as possible for all faculty, staff, and students who are parents. This includes providing access to five lactation rooms across campus. Lactation rooms are comfortable, secure rooms designated for mothers to breastfeed or privately express breast milk.

The Women's Center is a close partner of the Women's & Gender Studies Program at UD. Women's & Gender Studies focuses on the experiences and perspectives of women and considers how gender intersects with other factors and oppressions, such as race and class, to shape all of our lives.
