Finding the Information You Need
We're here to help our military and veteran community find the information they need for benefits, including tuition assistance and scholarships.
UD Campus Resources
The VMAG is a UD Law School student organization. Our mission is to help support area veterans and veteran organizations.
Veteran and Military Advocacy Group
The SVA is UD's local independent chapter of the national Student Veterans of America. We are a social and service organization, linking UD's student veterans, current service members, and families. SVA sends our members on service oriented trips, supports local veteran organizations, and provides opportunities for veteran students to connect on and off campus.

Two Honor Parking spaces are available, one at St. Joseph Hall and one at O'Reilly Hall.
- UD Permit Holders
The Honor Parking spaces can be used by any valid UD parking permit holders after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and throughout the day on weekends, with their regular permit displayed. Please remember that prior to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays, a regular UD parking permit will not be valid for the Honor Parking spaces, and a reservation using the Request for Guest / Event Parking Form must be made. - Visitors
Contact the office that you are visiting and they can request a temporary parking pass for you. Temporary passes for visitors are required weekdays from 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., and until 4:30 p.m. on Fridays. If you are visiting outside of those hours, you do not need a pass.
Hidden Heroes Scholarship
We know that the State of Ohio has approximately 140 Hidden Heroes, those who care for 100% disabled veterans. To support caregivers who may need to retrain in another career to support their veteran, we offer an undergraduate scholarship to cover 100% of tuition at the University of Dayton.
Note: this scholarship would replace any merit or need-based assistance previously awarded to you by the university.
To learn more about the Hidden Heroes Scholarship, contact vetservices@udayton.edu.
