Student Veteran Associations
UD is home to our own chapter of the national Student Veterans of America. SVA is a social and service organization, linking UD's student veterans, current service members, and families. SVA sends our members on service oriented trips, supports local veteran organizations, and provides opportunities for veteran students to connect on and off campus. The Veteran and Military Advocacy Group (VMAG) is a UD Law School student organization. Our mission is to help support area veterans and veteran organizations.
Yellow Ribbon Program
The University of Dayton is proud to be a Yellow Ribbon Program participant. Yellow Ribbon is an agreement between the university and the VA to split the costs on annual tuition in excess of the VA's annual private school tuition cap. CH 33 Post 9/11 beneficiaries at the 100% entitlement level receive a contribution from UD and a matching contribution from the VA to cover remaining tuition. Review the Yellow Ribbon eligibility page to understand specific requirements and reach out to our staff.
Military Tuition Assistance and National Guard Scholarship
The MVPS Center can assist students in determining their eligibility and requesting state and federal benefits available to Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard Service Members.
