At UD, we believe in supporting the whole person: mind, body and spirit. Here, you'll have access to resources to maintain your mental and physical health and wellbeing.
From counseling and medical services to mental health education and fitness opportunities, you'll find a variety of ways to stay resilient and strong as a Flyer. And with the newly announced Health and Wellbeing Center, we're adapting our services and facilities to meet the increasing needs of our students.

Building for Wellbeing
Accessing health and wellbeing services is about to be even easier with the new Health and Wellbeing Center, scheduled to open in 2026. The 34,200-square-foot facility will include new spaces for the Student Health Center and Counseling Center, enhancements to the RecPlex and more!
Counseling Center
UD's Counseling Center provides individual and group therapy, psychiatric services and more to support your mental and emotional health. The proposed expansion will increase clinical hours by 46%.
Student Health Center
Our on-campus Student Health Center includes board-certified primary care physicians and registered nurses. In addition, Emergency Medical Services are available 24 hours a day. The proposed expansion will increase appointment capacity by 80%.

At the Brook Center, you'll find workshops and training in key service areas including health equity, LGBTQ+ student services, peer education, sexual violence prevention and food insecurity. And the Center for Alcohol and Other Drugs Resources and Education provides education and recovery services and support.
