Porches? Isidore? Banner? While some of the language at UD might seem like Greek now, you’ll soon know everything you need to know about these and other IT resources available to you as a member of the UD community.

And so you know:

Porches is UD’s internal communication tool. It provides campus information, links to important resources (like your UD mail and calendar, campus announcements, class schedule, class rosters, grading, student profiles, registration approval, advisee information, and HR information) and more. Visit porches.udayton.edu and log in using your UD username and password.

Banner is the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) product from Ellucian used by the University of Dayton. Modules within Banner serve specific functions including HR, benefits, budgets, advising, registration, personnel management and more. Most faculty and staff will access Banner modules by first logging into Porches at porches.udayton.edu.

Isidore is UD’s learning management system (isidore.udayton.edu). Isidore is a full-featured E-Learning tool to enhance face-to-face classes or to support distance learning courses. This is a software package that resides on a UD server, where instructors can deliver and manage a wide range of curricular content and activities.
