COVID-19 status level at GREEN; in-person learning to begin Sept. 24

The current COVID-19 campus status is 2 - GREEN - LOCALIZED. Undergraduate courses with an in-person component can begin to include that component Thursday, Sept. 24. Read President Spina’s message to students here

December 2020 graduations to be virtual 

Due to the uncertain state of the pandemic, December 2020 graduation ceremonies will be virtual and in-person commencement activities will be postponed. We will schedule future in-person commencement ceremonies at a later date when public health officials and conditions permit large university gatherings.  

UDayton Votes information

UDayton Votes; a nonpartisan, student-led initiative which encourages voter and civic engagement on campus and helps students register to vote, learn about issues, and create personal voting plans; encourages everyone to check their registration status and voting plan for the Nov. 3 general election. Students can register using their home address and vote by mail with an absentee ballot or register with a campus address and vote in-person on Election Day or during early voting using the proof of residency letter that Housing and Residence Life will send soon. Visit for info on registering to vote, requesting an absentee ballot and finding your polling place. 

HBO Max now available

Students attached to UD’s network now have access to HBO Max – all of HBO, together with a collection of classic TV favorites, great movies and new Max Originals. Download the HBO Max app and log in with your UD username and password to start streaming. 

Autism/social communication support group 

College can come with new stress and pressures. Struggling to connect and find support may be one of those. If you are someone diagnosed with autism or have a difficult time with social or communication skills, this weekly drop-in support group may be helpful for you. The group will focus on providing support, problem-solving, building and maintaining interpersonal relationships, and how to be successful in college. You do not need to be referred by a therapist to participate. Drop in anytime. All academic years, all majors welcome! Sessions take place Fridays 12:20-1:10 p.m., via Zoom. Register here

Join CAB on KU Central Mall at 6 p.m. for 10 rounds of Bingo. The winner of each round will receive a prize.

Grab your friends, a blanket, and watch Jumanji: The Next Level with CAB at 9 p.m. on KU Field. Don’t forget your mask.

No shuttle service Wednesday, Sept. 23

The daily campus shuttle will not run Wednesday, Sept. 23 due to a one-day academic mini-break. Regular shuttle service will resume Thursday, Sept. 24.

Saturday shuttle now operated by RTA

The University's Saturday shuttle is now operated by the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA). The shuttle will run from 11:15 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. from campus stops to the Governors Place shopping area, which includes Walmart and various restaurants on Dorothy Lane and S. Dixie. Just show your UD student ID to use the service for free. The bus route number is No. 55 and can be tracked in real time through this app on the RTA website.
