Do I have to attend Transfer Orientation?
Yes! All new transfer students are required to complete an orientation experience.  You have the option to choose either the in-person experience which is highly recommended or the virtual experience, online transfer orientation.  Failure to complete either one of these experiences will have consequences.

Do my parents have to attend orientation?
No. If you attend the in-person orientation experience, you are welcome to bring up to two guests with you.  Most sessions will be attended together, however there is a breakout session designed for parent and family members.

How should I dress for TSO?
Casual and comfortable!  There will be some walking and you will be in and out of various meeting rooms with varying temperatures so feel free to bring a sweater if you would like.

What happens if I get lost during TSO?
If you get turned around while on campus, refer to the 1850 Orientation Schedule Apps to review the transfer orientation schedule and locations.

Are meals included during orientation?
If you attend the in-person orientation program lunch is included with the program.  More information about meal plans can be found here.

Am I required to purchase a meal plan?

Students residing in a traditional residence hall (Marycrest, Founders, Stuart, V.W.
