Community Education Modules

Incoming first-year and transfer students are required to complete four online courses, which make up the Community Education Modules. These modules assist students in developing a shared understanding of the values that we embrace as a Catholic Marianist University. Failure to complete all courses in their entirety will result in a hold being placed on your student account.

Note: Students in the UD Sinclair Academy will complete these courses upon transfer to the University of Dayton. International students will receive alternative programming on these topics, however, ARE required to complete the Hazing Prevention Course.

  • AlcoholEdu is a two-part course, which educates students on the impacts of alcohol and provides information needed to make healthy decisions.
  • Hazing Prevention 101 is a course that focuses on hazing prevention and how to identify hazing.
  • Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates (SAPU) is a two-part course, which educates students about healthy relationships, the importance of consent, and the role of bystander intervention.
  • Brave and Bold Dialogues: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion-College Edition is a course which leads learners through self-reflection and awareness exercises, designed to increase their cultural competency and lay the foundation for new and different perspectives.
