Follow along as DCDC’s Teaching Artist lead a dance-inspired fitness workout rooted in the African American Experience. Geared for all fitness levels, DCDC Afro Fit is a unique approach to help us all get moving!

Virtual Work Experience During College (Free event, pre-registration required)

Work experiences during college are pivotal to career decision-making and employment success after college. This workshop, featuring leaders from CareerBuilder, EY, General Electric, Premier Health, and Reynolds and Reynolds, will educate families about work experiences during college, the employment process, the availability of cooperative education and internship experiences, and the importance of being open to new experiences and diverse geographic destinations.

Up for a challenge that the whole family will enjoy? Sign your family up for a virtual escape room. Crack the code to “escape” and solve the mystery. The escape room will last one hour. *Please note the scenario for the escape room on 9/18 is the same as 9/19.

What's the Roesch? Join us for a virtual tour of the University Libraries. Get to know faculty and staff, learn about unique spaces like the Zen Den, Concourse D, and the Collab, and explore Marian Library, an internationally recognized center for scholarship on the Blessed Virgin Mary.

CAB Presents Comedian Jessi Campbell (Free event, pre-registration required)

Join CAB’s virtual comedy show with special guest, Jessi Campbell! An experience the entire family can enjoy this Family Weekend! Jessi has been seen on Last Comic Standing on NBC, and has performed her unique brand of storytelling at over 200 colleges, and over 100 comedy clubs and military bases.

Family Fun Hunt UD Miracle Fundraiser (Paid event, pre-registration required)

4:15 PM - 5:30 PM,  Zoom

Families will receive a list of hints and locations around campus and will be given an hour to go to each location, play a minute to win it game, and get a stamp showing they were there. The winning family will receive a gift card to a restaurant on Brown Street!

The hunt will begin in the Humanities Plaza outside the J.P. Humanities building where families will get to meet one of Dayton Children's Hospital Miracle Kids. The event ends at the RecPlex.

This event is hosted by UD Miracle, a nationally recognized organization that is dedicated to raising money and awareness for Dayton Children's Hospital through Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. $5 per person (max of $20 fee per family [not inclusive of Ticket Fees], i.e. families of 6 will only pay $20 plus ticket fees).

Pride of Dayton Marching Band (Free event, pre-registration required)

Under the direction of Kenneth Will, the Pride of Dayton Marching Band is a Show Band from the University of Dayton. Since 1905, the Pride of Dayton has entertained fans at football games, band festivals, and parades across the state of Ohio. Recognized for their energetic parade dances and powerful halftime performances, the Pride of Dayton is comprised of over 150 students from a wide variety of majors and who represent more than 15 different states across the country.

Affectionately known as “POD” to its members, the ensemble is a reflection of the Catholic, Marianist values of the University of Dayton. Whether it be through performance, citizenship, or service, the Pride of Dayton takes seriously its leadership role on campus to serve the common good.

The Pride of Dayton consists of students from the University of Dayton, Wright State University and Sinclair Community College, but we are all united as one POD family. Whether it’s hot or cold, rain or shine, It’s always a great day to be a Flyer!

Join CAB for a night of magic from the comfort of your own home! Daniel Martin’s Magic Night In will leave you awestruck..and with a few tricks of your own (that’s right Daniel will teach you a few tricks, too). He has performed at thousands of universities and Fortune 500 companies across the globe and has been seen on/consulted for the hit shows Now You See It, Scam School, and Magic For Humans on NETFLIX.
