Family Weekend

The University has announced a number of measures to protect the health and safety of our community from the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). We continue to be committed to protecting the health and safety of our campus, our community and beyond.

The University is working on plans to bring students to campus in the fall with safety measures in place, and as the health and safety of the entire UD community is of paramount importance, we have made the decision that there will be no in-person events offered for Family Weekend 2020.

This year's weekend will feature virtual events that students, parents and family members can enjoy from the safety of their homes. Schedule and event registration instructions for vIrtual Family Weekend will be shared on the website on August 18, 2020.

Family Weekend is such a special tradition at UD, and we are disappointed that we will not see our Flyer Families. However, our primary focus at this time is to help our students make it through the fall semester and not hosting large gatherings will help mitigate the spread of Covid-19.

Save the Date! Family Weekend 2020 will be: September 18-20, 2020

Mark your calendars and start making plans to attend this virtual weekend full of family fun! Registration will open for Family Weekend 2020 on August 18th at 1pm, EDT, and will close on September 13th at midnight, EDT.

A schedule for Family Weekend 2020 will be available soon!
