Student Transitions and Family Programs
Arrival on Campus
The transition to campus life comes with many exciting traditions at UD!
- Early Drop-Off is an opportunity for first-year students to get early access to their residence hall in order to drop off belongings and avoid fall move-in day lines.
- Fall Move-In is the day that all first-year students gain access to their residence hall prior to the start of classes. This day also kicks off the start of Welcome Weekend.
- Welcome Weekend is a complement to the orientation program first-year students attended over the summer months. During this weekend, students take a deeper dive into campus resources and academic preparation, while beginning to meet fellow classmates.
