Camp Blue Packing & Prohibited List

 

ESSENTIAL ITEMS (CAMP ERNST):

  • Positive Attitude
  • Reusable Water Bottle
  • Phone Charger
  • Bedding (sleeping bag or bed linens, pillow, blanket, etc.)
  • Bath Linens (towel, washcloth, etc.)
  • Shower Shoes
  • Athletic Shoes (Required for High- and Low-Ropes)
  • Casual Clothes (Shorts, T-Shirt, etc. enough for 2 changes a day)
  • Swimsuit
  • Medications
  • Insect Repellent
  • Sunscreen
  • Sweatshirt and/or Jacket (very cool mornings and late nights) 

OPTIONAL ITEMS (CAMP ERNST):

  • Mini Fan
  • Snacks
  • Change for Vending Machines

PROHIBITED ITEMS (CAMP ERNST):

  • Valuable Items (Electronics, Jewelry, Cash, etc.)
  • Alcoholic Beverages, Illegal Drugs, etc.
  • Tobacco
  • Inappropriate Music, Videos or Other Materials
  • Pets
  • Bicycles, Skateboards, Motorbikes or Carts, etc.
  • Weapons, Ammunition, etc.
  • Fireworks and Explosives
  • Matches, Lighters, Open Flames in Cabins, etc.

***Please pack all of the following camp necessities in separate luggage than the rest of your move-in items being brought with you. There will be very limited time on camp move-in day to settle, unpack and then repack. Campers will have free time throughout the week to unpack and settle in.

***Student Transitions & Family Programs and Camp Ernst are not responsible for lost or stolen personal items. There is little or no need for cash at camp. Please do not bring valuable items such as jewelry and/or expensive electronics.  

Fall Assignment Move-In Packing and Prohibited List

ESSENTIAL ITEMS (RESIDENCE HALL FOR THE WEEK):

Bedding (bed linens, pillow, blanket, etc.)
Bath Linens (towel, washcloth, etc.)
Shower Shoes
Casual Clothes (Shorts, T-Shirt, etc. enough for the week)
Daily Medications
Microwaveable/Breakfast Meals (if not purchasing supplemental meal plan)
Snacks
Change for Vending Machines, spending money, etc.
Technology (laptop, tablet, etc.)
