Renting a RecBike

RecBikes can be checked out at the Campus Recreation Equipment Issuance Desk. RecBikes can be checked out starting at SUNRISE. All bikes and equipment MUST be returned by SUNSET on the SAME DAY. Any equipment not returned by sunset will result in the member being charged a late fee of $5.00. Before renting a bike, you will need to complete a waiver and watch a safety video at the Equipment Issuance Desk.

Do you have a family member or friend coming to campus? See Dayton together by bike!
Campus Recreation members may check out additional bikes for guest(s). The member is responsible for the bike and equipment used by guest(s). The additional rider(s) must complete all required paperwork and comply with all RecBike policies.

Extended RecBike Rentals

Save time, money natural resources and burn calories by bike commuting to class, work and errands! Rent one of our Fuji Crosstown bikes for a week or semester at a time. Complete the Rental Application or contact Amber Dierking for more information.

Our region boasts over 330 miles of multi-use, beginner friendly, and easily accessible connected bikeways. Many students have yet to discover the wealth of cultural opportunities downtown. By bike, you can travel to the Second Street Market, eat at local cafe, jump in the fountain at Riverscape, or check out the Dayton Art Institute.
