Run laps on the elevated 1/8-mile indoor track, or join a yoga class in one of the three group fitness studios. Shoot hoops on one of the main gym's four courts. Figure out how to ascend the face of the climbing wall or how to hit a racquetball with topspin. Pump iron in the free weight area, and get your blood pumping on one of the 60 cardio machines available. You can also swim in the eight-lane pool or relax in the whirlpool.

Stuart Field

Stuart Field features 5.6 acres of high use, high performance, multi-purpose fields that play and feel like natural grass. Surrounding the perimeter of the field is a .385 mile walking/running track. All UD students have access to Stuart Field.

Outdoor Engagement Center
Located at 438 Stonemill Rd, Campus Recreation’s Outdoor Engagement Center (OEC) provides the University of Dayton and the surrounding community with opportunities and resources to engage the natural world in a sustained, collaborative, and meaningful way that promotes a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors and personal health and wellness.
Rock Wall
The UD Rock Wall is a custom A.R.T. Wall by Nicros that is designed to look like a real rock face. The features are cast from real rocks and the surface is coated in a polymer-reinforced concrete, so it has the feel of real rock.

Old River Park
Located just one mile from the RecPlex and adjacent to Curran Place, the historic Old River Park is a waterfront green space with old growth trees, meandering paths, a picnic shelter, and bandstand. Old River Park programming provides students with a beautiful park setting close to campus in which individuals can recreate, explore, and connect with nature.
