Finding Funding
GrantForward is a great tool to discover funding opportunities and it is available to all UD Faculty and Staff. Sign-up now to start your search!
You can easily set up your account on GrantForward by following these steps:
- Go to GrantForward.com, click on Sign Up on the upper right side of the GrantForward homepage.
- On the Create an Account page, enter your institution email, name and password for your account. (Note: UDRI employees please use UD email/password.)
- Check your inbox (and the spam folder too!) for a confirmation email. Confirm by clicking on the link in the email. Then, you can log in to use GrantForward-- click on Log In on the upper right side of the screen.
Federal Grant Funding Opportunities
- Grants.gov is your one-stop-shop for Federal agency funding opportunities.
- Foundation Directory Online - FDO makes it easy to turn foundations into funders. It’s the only resource you need to search for the foundations most likely to give you grants and manage your prospects through to funding.
- National Institutes of Health - NIH offers funding for many types of grants, contracts, and even programs that help repay loans for researchers. Learn about these programs, as well as about NIH's budget process, grant funding strategies, and policies, and more.
- National Science Foundation - find NSF funding opportunities
- National Aeronautics Space Administration - NASA Solicitation and Proposal Integrated Review and Evaluation System
- National Endowment for the Arts - an independent federal agency whose funding and support gives Americans the opportunity to participate in the arts, exercise their imaginations, and develop their creative capacities
- National Endowment for the Humanities - an independent federal agency and one of the largest funders of humanities programs in the United States
- Federal RePORTER - a collaborative effort led by STAR METRICS to create a searchable database of scientific awards from agencies
