Faculty Staff Formation Opportunities

Engage in the Marianist Spirit

Whether you are a student, faculty member, staff, administrator, or alumni, we are all called to help further the Marianist mission of our university family!

The Office for Mission and Rector coordinates several programs to help you grow in your understanding of our Marianist heritage, and explore how you can be an active part of bringing the Marianist spirit to life on our campus.  Questions about any of our programs can be directed to rectorevents@udayton.edu or by contacting the program coordinator directly.

Marianist Educational Associates

The Marianist Educational Associates (MEA) is an initiative among the three Marianist Universities to build strong partners with members of the Society of Mary. Each year, faculty, staff and administrators are invited to deepen their understanding of and their commitment to the traditions and beliefs that make the University of Dayton a Catholic and Marianist community.

The applications for new cohorts become available in early January each year.

Marianist Founders Seminar
The Marianist Founders Seminar is an opportunity for mid-career, tenured faculty and professional staff to study the Marianist tradition and spirituality, which dwell at the heart of the foundation and mission of the University of Dayton.  Using their own fields of expertise, a cohort of “Founders Scholars” will enter into a three-phase process of discovery, learning, and action.
