Faculty Maternity Leave Panel

The Faculty Maternity Leave Panel was established to: track the implementation of the policy to ensure consistency of application across the University; report on the use of the policy; assist faculty, chairs and deans in using the policy, and; work with the Associate Provost for Faculty and Administrative Affairs to establish communication mechanisms to publicize the policy. Its membership includes: three faculty – Becky Blust (Engineering), Susan Davies (Education and Health Sciences) and Jana Bennett (Arts and Sciences); Director of the Women’s Center Lisa Rismiller, Manager of Benefits Beth Schwartz, and Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs Pat Donnelly.

An audit of maternity leaves from the previous academic year is presented to the Academic Senate.
