Faculty Maternity Leave
This Faculty Maternity Leave Policy applies to full-time, tenured, tenure-track or full-time non tenure-track faculty. The intention of this policy is to act in the best interest of the faculty member, department and students when the leave must be taken during a teaching semester by providing for leave beyond the documented medical needs of the faculty member. Frequently, a maternity leave is taken for the full teaching semester with the approval of a modified duties agreement.
