The CAP Office will be conducting CAP with Friends sessions via Zoom. All sessions will be offered in an unstructured "study hall" format, but will still provide opportunities for faculty to better understand CAP, think about CAP course design/redesign and the 4-Year Review process, as well as address any CAP-related questions. 

SPRING 2021 SESSIONS

  • Wednesday February 17, 2021 | 1:30-2:30 p.m.
  • Thursday March 4, 2021 | 9:30-10:30 a.m.
  • Wednesday March 17, 2021 | 11:15-12:15 a.m.
  • Tuesday March 30, 2021 | 9:30-10:30 a.m.

POSSIBLE SESSION GOALS

  • Time to work on a course proposal or 4-Year Review report
  • Reminder of CAP components
  • Brainstorming about CAP components that might align with course design/redesign
  • Conceptualizing course goals
  • Navigating the Course Inventory Management (CIM) form
  • Considering how we figure out if students are learning
  • Linking course learning objectives to assessing learning
  • Developing a course assessment plan

DSJ Hangouts aim to connect DSJ educators, facilitate introductions and social engagements around classroom experiences, share insights and cool ideas, as well as address any CAP-DSJ related questions.
