State Government

As the state's largest independent university, we are an important and active advisor on state higher education and research and development initiatives. By supporting and maintaining our relationships with our state officials and their staffs, the University's government relations office is able to advocate and educate on legislation that impacts our University, higher education and research.

UD colleagues are respectfully asked to coordinate university-related conversations with elected officials' offices with the Government Relations Director, Ted Bucaro (229-4158) or the appropriate Research Institute colleague. Any conversations with elected officials concerning personal matters or those not related to the university require no such coordination.
