University of Dayton celebrates 175th birthday at picnic, with library exhibits link-arrow link-arrow

Today, 175 years ago, the first students attended class at Saint Mary's School for Boys, which later became the University of Dayton. The University celebrated at its employee picnic today and will continue throughout the year with library exhibits.

University of Dayton names new University Libraries dean link-arrow link-arrow

Matthew Shaw, dean of University Libraries at Ball State since 2016, will serve in the same position at the University of Dayton starting July 1, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs Darlene Weaver announced Feb. 15.
