Ensalaco's expertise is in terrorism, political violence, human rights, dictators, human trafficking, immigration and Latin America. He is the author of the book Middle Eastern Terrorism: From Black September to September 11 and several journal articles on human rights. Adjunct; Director, Abolition Ohio; Director of Advocacy, Human Rights Center

Talbott's expertise is in human trafficking, southeast Asia, North Korea and China, human rights, global security, nationalism and identity politics, politics of rural and marginalized people, and social movements.
