Fourteen University of Dayton schools and programs are listed among the '2025 U.S. News Best Graduate Schools Rankings.'

The 2025 edition features the University's schools of business administration, law, education and health sciences, and engineering; plus the part-time MBA, physical therapy, physician assistant, biological sciences and public affairs programs as well as the aerospace, biomedical, electrical, material and mechanical engineering programs. 

Notably, the School of Engineering tied for second in Ohio with Case Western Reserve University. Nationally, the school also tied with Brown University and ahead of Dartmouth College, both Ivy League schools. The School of Law tied Case Western Reserve among Ohio schools.

The rankings — a resource widely used by prospective students considering graduate school — are based on "two types of data: expert opinions about program excellence and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a school's faculty, research and students," according to U.S. News.
