Fortune ranks UD online MBA among best in nation

Fortune magazine ranked the University of Dayton’s online MBA program as one of the best in the nation for 2021, based in part on the success of graduates and surveys of business professionals.

MBA@Dayton, which can be completed in 12 to 18 months depending on a student’s prior experience, includes weekly face-to-face virtual classes, independent coursework, in-person immersions with networking opportunities, ethics courses and a hands-on capstone experience in which groups offer consulting services to large and small companies.

The ranking reflects the value the program offers, including flexibility for students in their schedules as well as opportunities for them to engage with their peers plus business leaders and University faculty who lead classes, said Scott MacDonald, program director.

“We are very pleased to be recognized in the rankings,” he said. “The University of Dayton MBA program is continually working to provide value to our students and the business community.”

MBA@Dayton is one of five graduate degree programs offered by the School of Business Administration, which is accredited by AACSB International, the oldest and most prestigious accreditation organization for business education.
