University President Eric F. Spina discussed how the University and the State of Ohio are collaborating to help fill the need for computer scientists in a Dayton Daily News opinion piece, "Ohio reprograms its future."

The St. Louis Review, the publication of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, featured engineering student Ellen Lucchesi's work with the School of Engineering's ETHOS Center (Engineers in Technical Humanitarian Opportunities of Service) to bring prosthetics to developing communities in Bolivia.

The Associated Press quoted law professor Thaddeus Hoffmeister about the Harvey Weinstein jury in a story that was picked up by hundreds of outlets. 

Hoffmeister and Human Rights Center Executive Director Shelley Inglis gave their thoughts to regional and local media about tensions between Iran and the U.S.

Statehouse News Bureau interviewed political scientist Christopher Devine about President Donald Trump starting his 2020 campaign year in Ohio. Radio stations in Cincinnati, Columbus and Cleveland ran the interview.

First Bell, the e-newsletter of the American Society for Engineering Education, picked up a Dayton Daily News story about researchers at the University of Dayton Research Institute finding a cause of dangerous jet fuel contamination.
