UD in the News Aug. 4-10

Agence France-Presse, Time and The Nation were among the international outlets tapping the expertise of University of Dayton faculty to explain the special election in Ohio's 12th Congressional district, the significance of the Ford Mustang, human rights and creating a cybersecure community.

Vince Lewis, director of the L. William Crotty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and Fifth Third Bank Entrepreneur-in-Residence, was a guest of WVXU-FM's "Cincinnati Edition" to help provide an update on the Dayton Arcade project.

Locally, Provost Paul Benson provided his insight to the Dayton Daily News for a story about Dayton attracting young talent, and WHIO-TV interviewed Connie Bowman, chair of the teacher education department, and Rochonda Nenonene, a director of UD's Urban Teacher Academy, about how the academy helps local schools deal with a teacher shortage.

A sample of the news coverage during the week is below, and you can click here to view links to all of the University's media coverage during August.
