'Champion of Energy Efficiency'
The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy named renewable and clean energy chair Kelly Kissock a "champion of energy efficiency."
Past winners include Walmart and the Canadian Industry Program for Energy Conservation.
Kissock just returned from Brazil where he was part of a U.S. Department of Energy and Global Sustainability Electric Partnership initiative to promote sustainable energy development. Kissock, head of the University of Dayton's award-winning Industrial Assessment Center, helped develop university-based energy assessment programs.
Under Kissock's leadership, the Industrial Assessment Center has won top awards from the U.S. Department of Energy and the state of Ohio.
Kissock also has served on the Midwestern Governors Association Energy Efficiency Advisory Group and led the University of Dayton Industrial Assessment Center.
