Cincinnati NPR affiliate WVXU-FM interviewed Hanley Sustainability Institute Executive Director Ben McCall about his essay in the journal Energy Research & Social Science. The Global Sisters Report, a project of National Catholic Reporter, featured Associate History Professor Shannen Dee Williams' presentation at the Religious Formation Conference.

The Dayton Funk Symposium returns to the University of Dayton Nov. 3-6 with a lineup of academic, cultural and community events celebrating the rhythmic groove-based genre that put Dayton on the musical map in the 1970s and early 1980s.

Statewide news outlet Spectrum News 1 and WDTN chronicled student efforts to keep the Dayton Independent Film Festival alive despite COVID-19 restrictions.

Ro Nita Hawes-Saunders to Receive Honorary Doctorate

With approval of its board of trustees, the University of Dayton will bestow an honorary doctorate degree on Ro Nita Hawes-Saunders, CEO of the world-renowned Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, at spring commencement exercises Sunday, May 12, in the University of Dayton Arena.
