Jewish Students

Jewish Life at the University of Dayton

In seeking to support students of all faiths, Campus Ministry maintains connections with local synagogues and supports the Jewish students.

There is currently no Jewish student organization at this time. If you are interested in starting a Jewish student organization, please contact Rev. Renita Green in Campus Ministry for support.

Dining

There are currently no kosher-certified dining options available on campus. All dining locations have vegetarian options available, however they are not strictly dedicated vegetarian and therefore some cross-contamination may occur.

Campus Connections

Jewish faculty and staff provide hospitality and resources for students during high holidays and more.  To get connected, contact Dr. Sam Dorf, sdorf1@udayton.edu or
Dr. Masha Kisel mkislel1@udayton.edu.

Resources

The Jewish Federation of Greater Dayton, http://www.jewishdayton.org/. There are special grants, loans, and scholarships offered as well to Jewish students (https://jewishdayton.org/program/scholarships-and-student-loans/).
