Upcoming Exhibit
Warp and Weft: Weaving Mary and Identity
Feb. 18 – June 27, 2025
Marian Library Gallery, seventh floor of Roesch Library
Admire fiber art, prints, paintings, books and more selected from the Marian Library collections by artist-in-residence Darden Bradshaw.

Marian Library artist-in-residence Darden Bradshaw invites you to explore the art of tapestry. Informed by and responding to objects and books from the Marian Library collections, Bradshaw will weave a new work that invites an expanded interpretation of Mary. Gallery visitors will have opportunities to interact with Bradshaw as she weaves; they will also be able to try their hand at weaving.
To observe and interact as Bradshaw weaves a tapestry in the exhibit space, visit 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays during the Spring semester (excluding March 19, 21 and April 7-18).
Try your hand at weaving. A small loom complete with supplies is available for visitors to use whenever the exhibit is open.
