The Marian Library has partial holdings of at least two uncataloged medical journals that developed out of the need to document the miraculous cures at Lourdes: Bulletin de L'Association Médicale Internationale de Notre-Dame de Lourdes and Bulletin of the Lourdes International Medical Association.
The realia collection includes ex votos, or milagros, and the print collection includes images related to pilgrimage sites associated with healing. A connection can be made here to discussions of faith and reason and/or the place of prayer in medical practice.
