Working Together
The Marian Library, together with the University Archives and Special Collections, and the U.S. Catholic Special Collection, are rare and distinctive collections of the University of Dayton Libraries.
The Marian Library fosters a close relationship with the International Marian Research Institute, now part of the College of Arts and Sciences. The institute was launched in 1975 and sprung from the Marian Library Summer Institute program. The Marian Library supports research and scholarly efforts of the International Marian Research Institute.
The Marian Library also provides assistance to faculty and students in the various Marian Studies offerings in the Department of Religious Studies. In addition, library personnel frequently collaborate with other units on campus including English, Art and Design and Campus Ministry.
