A time to rest with Jesus

A time to rest with Jesus

Eucharistic Exposition, also known as Adoration, occurs every weekday afternoon in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception on UD's campus. During this time, a monstrance is placed on the altar, containing a Eucharistic Host, in which Catholics believe Jesus Christ is fully present.

Students often take the time from their busy schedules to take advantage of the time to worship. Many students enjoy taking a quiet moment to rest in the presence of Jesus.

Catholic Life, a campus student organization, works in collaboration with Campus Ministry to provide Adoration during the week. The group provides an opportunity for students to sign up for weekly 30-minute slots to ensure there is always someone present. There are 29 time slots throughout the week, and each one has at least two students signed up.

Many more students come to worship, read and rest during Adoration, even if they are not assigned a slot. All are welcome.
